The upcoming event is scheduled to span 4 consecutive days. The festival eagerly invites the participation of all African countries and members of the African diaspora. Attendees will have the chance to engage in business activities and immerse themselves in a rich and diverse African culture
PRE EVENT ACTIVITY
Through The Exits Back To The Roots Tour
This tour ignites a powerful and experiential understanding of history by tracing the journeys of descendants back to the embarkation points of the transatlantic slave trade, reconnecting them with their roots. The journey will start from Cape Coast through Assin Manso (Central Region) to Kumasi (Ashanti Region) and end in Tamale (Northern Region).
Main Event Activities
DAY 1 –
CULTURAL ROOTS TOURS
Participants will visit Mole National Park, Larabanga Mosque, Navrongo Mud Cathedral, Kintampo Waterfalls, Mystic Stone and a Tamale City Tour
DAY 2 –
CULTURAL FUSION DURBAR/STREET CARNIVAL
There will be colorful parades, captivating performances, and rich, time-honored traditions and culture in dance, music, artistry, musketry, and equestrian prowess from all the regions in Northern Ghana.
DAY 3 –
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOP/FASHION SHOW
A workshop will be organised for the youth to empower them to harness the power of creative arts to promote tourism and drive economic growth in their communities. Later in the evening, a world-class fashion show will be held to celebrate the northern fashion scene’s artistry, creativity, and innovation.
DAY 4 –
MUSICAL CONCERT
The grand finale of the event promises to be an awe-inspiring showcase of the universal language of music and its power to unite people from different cultures across Africa. With a jubilant atmosphere and shared experience, it will be an unforgettable celebration of the beauty and richness of African music.
